Two new books this month:
Jean-Claude Dunyach's THE THIEVES OF SILENCE is a collection of award-winning science fiction short stories. (A first collection, THE NIGHT ORCHID, was published in 2004.) This will appeal to readers who like David Brin-type SF, a bit of hard science, but lots of humanity and great characters. Jean-Claude will be attending the Worldcon in Canada where he will be signing this book. Cover by Guillermo Vidal.
STRAGERS: STARLOCK is a Hexagon Comics release featuring one of the alien superheroes who later became the focus of STRANGERS, a 2003 6-issue mini-series released by Image Comics. Our last two volumes, HOMICRON and JAYDEE, also feature members of that group. The art is by Luciano Bernasconi with an intro by Mike Baron. Cover by Manuel Martin Peniche.
