Happy New Year to all! May 2011 bring you all good health and prosperity.
Our three January releases are:
The delayed MISSING LINK, a collection of six enlightening and colorful tales of Ape-Men ranging from the 1820s to the 1910s, assembled by Tarzan expert Georges Dodds, showing how the notion of "Missing Link" was developed in French popular fiction in parallel with the theories of Darwin. The cover illustration is by Mike Hoffman.
THE SUPERHUMANS, a collection of two novellas and seven shorter tales by French anarchist & philosopher Han Ryner. A 1903 novella is a GULLIVER-like journey through various, strange microcosms; the 1929 title story describes a future Earth when mankind has been enslaved by super-intelligent mastodons. This is another ground-breaking collection of pre-Wellsian French science-fiction.
Finally, FRANKENSTEIN IN LONDON is the third volume in Brian Stableford's alternate history conflating the universes of Mary Shelley and Paul Féval, collecting the last two instalments from Tales of the Shadowmen 6 and 7, with a cover by Daniele Serra.
