Our three November releases are now available.
Gerard Klein's THE MOTE IN TIME'S EYE is a classic space/time opera from the mid-60s about a human starship crew accidentally transported into the far past when they become unwitting pawns in a timewar between two far future powers. It was originally published by DAW books in the late 70s but we heavily revised the translation, added some extra stories and the usual biographical materials.
SPIRIDON on the other hand is a 1907 novel by Andre Laurie, a collaborator of Jules Verne. The eponymous character is a giant intelligent ant (from a hidden race) with a Vulcan-like-type mind who comes in contact with human society. It is probably the first non-xenophobic tale of human/non-human encounter in SF and quite ahead of its times.
Finally, LORD RUTHVEN BEGINS is an 1868 play adapted by Frank Morlock featuring the notorious romantic vampire character. The book also includes a shorter story by Frank which serves as an origin for Ruthven. This completes a trilogy which began with LORD RUTHVEN THE VAMPYRE and Alexandre Dumas' LORD RUTHVEN RETURNS.
